Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?

Why My Spirit Animal Is a Dragon (And Honestly, Everyone Should Be a Little Concerned)

If someone asked me what animal I’d compare myself to, some people might say something sweet like a butterfly, a dolphin, or maybe a graceful deer.

Bless their hearts.

But let’s be honest. The correct answer is a dragon. Specifically, something along the lines of Drogon from Game of Thrones—large, dramatic, slightly unpredictable, and absolutely not afraid to light things on fire when necessary.

Let me explain.

First of all, I’m what you might call “hell on wheels and a hot mess all rolled into one.” Some people wake up and choose peace. I wake up and choose coffee… and occasionally chaos. Not intentionally, of course, but life just seems to follow me around like a reality TV camera crew waiting for the next episode.

Now don’t get me wrong—I’m loyal. Ridiculously loyal. If you’re in my circle, I will defend you, support you, hype you up, bring snacks, help you move, and possibly help hide the body. (That last one is hypothetical. Mostly.)

But loyalty is a two-way street.

The moment someone proves they’re disloyal, shady, sneaky, or doing the emotional equivalent of throwing rocks at my castle… well… that’s when the dragon wakes up.

And dragons don’t do passive-aggressive.

They do fire.

Now before anyone panics, let me clarify: I’m not randomly breathing fire on innocent bystanders. Dragons are actually quite selective. You have to earn the flames. Usually by lying, being dishonest, or—my personal favorite—trying to be fake nice while secretly stirring the pot.

I’m also a proud Scorpio, which basically means my instincts are sharper than a dragon’s claws. You might think you’re being slick, but my internal radar is already blinking like a security alarm at 2 a.m.

Translation:

If something feels off… it probably is.

But here’s the thing people misunderstand about dragons.

They’re not just fierce. They’re protective.

Dragons guard what matters to them.

And I love hard. I’m either all in or I’m not in at all. There’s no halfway, lukewarm, “let’s see how this goes” energy here. If you’re my friend, my family, or someone I care about, I will go to battle for you like a medieval knight with better hair and stronger opinions.

Life has thrown plenty of fire my way over the years—storms, setbacks, heartbreaks, challenges that could knock someone flat.

But here’s the funny part about being a dragon…

Fire doesn’t destroy us. It powers us.

Every challenge just adds another layer of armor. Every hard moment makes the wings a little stronger. And somehow, through all of it, I’m still standing—maybe a little dramatic, definitely a little sarcastic, but absolutely ready to burn my way through whatever comes next.

So yes.

I’m a dragon.

Fierce. Loyal. Occasionally chaotic. Deeply protective. Slightly dramatic. Highly caffeinated.

And if you’re kind, honest, and loyal—you’re perfectly safe.

But if you’re shady?

Well…

Let’s just say dragons don’t run out of fire. 🔥🐉
