Do you believe in fate/destiny?
Do I Believe in Fate and Destiny?
(Yes. And also… I’m a Scorpio, so proceed accordingly.)
People ask me, “Do you believe in fate or destiny?”
Yes. Completely. Absolutely. Without hesitation.
I believe everything happens for a reason. Some things happen to teach us lessons. Some happen to push us onto the right path. And sometimes they happen because we made a choice — and that choice shaped everything that followed.
I believe life is a winding road — kind of like one of my outdoor runs — full of unexpected hills, surprise detours, and the occasional “Well, that was dumb” moment. But every twist builds us into who we’re becoming.
I also believe people come into our lives for a reason.
Some come to encourage us.
Some come to stretch us.
Some come to test the very last nerve we have.
And some? Some are simply there to teach us exactly what we don’t want next time.
But here’s where it gets interesting.
I’m a Scorpio.
Which means two very important things:
My intuition is STRONG. I don’t get mad… I get even.
Now, is that always healthy? Debatable.
Is it accurate? Absolutely.
As a Scorpio, I have this gut instinct that is usually spot on. I can feel energy shift. I can sense when something is off. And I’ve learned — the hard way a few times — that when I ignore my intuition, I pay for it.
So now? I listen.
If my gut says “Hmm…” — I pause.
If my gut says “Run.” — I lace up.
And when I choose not to listen and things fall apart? Lesson learned. Tuition paid. Moving forward.
I believe destiny may place people in our path, but we choose how long they stay.
Here’s the thing about me: I keep a small circle. Very small. If you are in it, you are lucky. Because I am loyal. I will protect you. I will defend you. I will take up for you even when you’re not in the room.
But don’t take that loyalty for granted.
Because this Scorpio heart is warm — but it also has a delete button.
And believe me, once you’re out, you’re out. You become that one sentence in my story that says, “Well, that happened,” and then we turn the page.
Gone.
No hard feelings — just growth.
I choose growth every time. I choose to learn. I choose to move forward. But don’t play with my life like it’s a game you get to experiment with. My life isn’t your practice round.
That goes back to fate and destiny.
I believe people enter our lives for a season, a reason, or a lesson. Sometimes they help shape our future for the better. Sometimes they show us boundaries we didn’t know we needed.
Either way, we’re learning.
Even when I choose wrong.
Even when I ignore my intuition.
Even when I trust too quickly.
There is always a lesson.
So yes — I believe in fate.
I believe in destiny.
I believe in divine timing and detours and redirection.
But I also believe in responsibility.
We choose who we keep.
We choose who we release.
We choose whether we grow bitter or better.
And as a Scorpio who trusts her gut, protects her circle, and doesn’t forget a lesson?
I’m choosing growth.
I’m choosing wisdom.
I’m choosing forward.
But don’t mistake kindness for weakness.
And don’t confuse patience with permission.
Everything happens for a reason.
Just make sure you’re on the right side of mine. 🦂✨
