What could you do differently?

If I could change anything, it would be the friends I once trusted. Some people I called friends were anything but. One betrayed me completely—lying, manipulating, and sacrificing me to protect herself. She tried to destroy my life, and for a while, it nearly worked.

I ignored the red flags and the warnings, and I learned that lesson the hard way. After that, I changed. I withdrew from social circles, chose peace over popularity, and kept my world small and safe—mostly family. The experience made me more discerning and far more cautious. Choose your friends wisely, because some will stab you in the back to save themselves.
