Five Things I’m Truly Good At
1. Teaching & Literacy Expertise
I excel at teaching reading. With 17 years in education and 8 of those as a Reading Specialist, I have a deep love for literacy and a natural ability to help children grow as readers. Supporting elementary students and guiding teachers in literacy strategies has always been one of my greatest passions.
2. Building Connections With People
I’m very good at meeting new people and carrying meaningful conversations with ease. Whether in professional settings or community events, I connect quickly, make others feel comfortable, and build genuine relationships.
3. Leadership & Event Direction
I’m a strong, confident leader who enjoys taking charge and seeing projects through from start to finish. I love creating events that bring people together, and I thrive when I’m responsible for the big picture as well as the fine details.
4. Expert 5K & Event Coordination
I am exceptionally skilled at organizing 5K runs. After directing so many, I can put an entire race together almost effortlessly—and often within a month. Planning, coordinating volunteers, mapping routes, and executing a successful event come naturally to me.
5. Exceptional Organization Skills
Organization is one of my superpowers. My attention to detail (and a little OCD!) kicks in, allowing me to organize spaces, events, schedules, and projects with incredible efficiency. I can declutter, structure, and streamline anything until it’s just right.
