What is your favorite form of physical exercise?
Running is my favorite form of exercise because it gives me a true sense of accomplishment every time I rack up my monthly miles. I serve on several nonprofit boards, including the Gadsden Runners Club, where we host a monthly mileage challenge that keeps members accountable and engaged with both their health and the running community.
I’ve been active my whole life, growing up running and playing tennis, but running has always held a special place for me. There’s nothing quite like the euphoric feeling that comes when I hit a certain mile. I typically run more than six miles a day, and beyond running, I also serve as co-race director—with my best friend—for five local 5K races that raise money for nonprofits in our community.
Running isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a passion that connects me to others and strengthens my ties to the community I love.
