I’m proud to be of the Cherokee Indian people. My Great Grandmother was full-blooded on my mother’s side but on my dad’s side we had Cherokee Indian also but some European too. So, I have black hair, dark skin and very dark eyes with high cheek bones. I do wish that I knew more of our family’s history on my mother’s side but my Great Grandmother died when I was a few months old and we were not close to that side of the family.
